Today, gambling cards are usually made of plastic, that is why they are more durable. What you probably use at home is the Anglo-American playing cards, which are the widely used cards today.

A deck of cards is composed of 52 cards. There are four different suits - flower, spade, hearts and diamonds. Some of the cards are numbered, while the others have drawings on them. These are the face cards, namely Jack, Queen, and the King.
